My wife used to own a 16gig Ipod Touch until 3 weeks ago when she decided to convert it into an Aquapod. After dropping her Ipod in the lake we assumed it was junk. I dove down a week later and retrieved it so she could use the old case when she bought a new one eventually.
We were totally amazed when we found that IT STILL WORKS FINE AFTER A WEEK UNDERWATER!!! It's been 2 weeks since it spent a week underwater and it's going strong. Screen looks and responds totally normal, battery holds a charge, wifi/email/internet works fine. The thing is very heavy now, it must be filled with water. I told her to store it in a glass of water when shes not using it, as soon as it dries out inside, it will start to corrode much faster.
