I'd expected a high-volume flash player that would enable me to watch vids and play music - and hold allllll my family pix - which it does, with aplomb. But it does so much more. It offers me the convenience of using it as a mini netbook. I can easily read and write email and use its browser to surf the web, if need be, and it's very fast. I also sync'd its calendar and contacts with my Google calendar/contacts wirelessly, which in turn syncs with my Outlook calendar/contacts on my laptop and home PC. Another interesting attribute: you can download Pandora or AOL Radio for free from Apple's App Store, and listen to streaming music from Internet radio. Finally, I use it as my alarm clock.
