The iPod does not support "shared key" WEP, and Apple does not tell us this anywhere, nor did tech support when I called them. If you use "shared key" WEP for your wireless LAN, the iPod will not connect and you could experience prolonged frustration. If you switch to "open authentication" under WEP, the connection will be quickly established. Also, the browser does not support Flash and it bothers me at times. These things are why I say 4.5 stars.
Other than that, this is a slick piece of hardware(&software). Super form factor...sound is good if you invest in better headphones...video looks really good...Wifi is really handy (but no Flash is a bummer)...not crazy about being tethered to iTunes, but I must say that it works well and I have not had any problems synching.
