I purchased a 16 GB iTouch about 3 months ago, and it just recently started having issues; the internal speakers won't turn off even I plug headphones into it. I shipped it off to apple to have it looked at, and I figured that they would replace/fix it because it was still under warranty. However, I received a response from apple claiming that my iTouch had come in contact with liquid and therefore they would not replace/fix the iTouch. Never have I submerged or dumped excessive amounts of water on the iTouch, nor have I have left it out in the rain or anything of that nature. I would warn anyone against buying this product because of my own experience. This was the first apple product I have purchased; it is also the last.
