I have not had an iPod prior to this purchase. I am primarily a music consumer but I wanted something with all the bells and whistles there were to be had, this is IT! It is easy to use and the quality of the sound is great as long as you are not counting on the built in speaker. I believe this speaker was added more for games and such. I connect it to my home stereo and car stereo and the sound is great. The pictures I put on it look awesome and the wifi capability is really sweet. For me the only drawback is the small letter keys for typing in data.
