Apple iPod touch 16 GB (2nd Generation) NEWEST MODEL Decide Now

If you want to make full use of the device and keep features like wifi turned on while using any sort of app that requires the screen be lit during use, a full battery charge lasts from four to six hours, max. Which means that you have to invest in expensive plug-in battery packs in order to make it through long stretches stuck in airport terminals--and be sure you get ones that are made specifically to be used with the iTouch because not all ipod peripherals seem to be compatable with all models.

Apple seems to have thought it more important to make the device as thin as possible than to make it fully functional, a really stupid choice. The case would only have needed to be a tiny bit larger in order to hold a decent battery.

For best battery performance, only turn a feature on when you're using it. That means don't keep the wi-fi connected in the background when you're not surfing, and even when you are, don't use the email 'push' because it's more of a power drain that it's worth. Also set the screen brightness to the lowest setting you can bear and don't turn off the 'auto-lock' feature.

If it weren't for the lousy battery life, I'd give the iTouch five stars. It's an entire entertainment system. Gaming, movies, books, web-surfing, music, etc. It can do everything imaginable... just not for very long.Get more detail about Apple iPod touch 16 GB (2nd Generation) NEWEST MODEL.
