This generation is much better than any other previous generation. I like the speaker built in feature and the clarity of sounds with iTunes Plus songs with higher bit rate. Those two are what keeps me using the iPod over and over. Even at low volume I can hear really clearly with the ear phones that came with the product. I didn't buy the games.
