I have owned several mp3 players in the past from Philips, Sony, and a ipod nano. Nothing ever comes close to this in terms of features, interface, and ease of use. I was blown away seeing what it can do. It can do anything an Iphone can do minus the phone. If you have wireless access, you can use Voip applications to make phone calls. The screen is made out of glass so it is almost scratch proof. It has built in speakers which is very useful when gaming without using headphones or watching youtube. There are many very high quality apps available from the app store. You can find lots of free ones. When I owned a nano, I almost hated having to use Itunes to manage music, but the new version has more functionality and is very easy to use. There might be other manufacturers with better aesthetics and features but apple is very far ahead in terms of user base and app store applications. A little downside is the back which scratches very easily. If only apple could make the back scratch proof, it would be awesome.
