As a Mac lover and user for over 14 years, I'm fascinated by most of the products that Apple launches every year. The iPod touch, like most of its contemporary products, has a great design and interface. That said, I bought the 8Gb model as a present for my wife. She absolutely loved it, and spends a lot of time messing around with her new toy. Unfortunately, since we don't live in the US and therefore, don't have American credit cards, we don't have access to the US iTunes store. I think that the lack of globalization in this aspect is a big factor. Without the same apps, we're limited to not so good ones and a much smaller quantity. Since Apple products are sold and used all over the world, I don't see why there shouldn't be just one big international iTunes store, where anybody can buy anything.
