I'd coveted an iPod touch for a while, and a $100 Amazon gift token tipped the balance. I opted for the 16 GB on the basis that I wouldn't be able to watch / listen to all that content before I flattened the battery. Add a Web browser (safari :(), a few hundred MB of apps (newspapers, rss feeds, radio...**cough** games) and I effectively have everything I need from a netbook computer! Get yourself a Skype client and you van make VoIP calls without being tied to an IPhone and what laughably passes for a phone service from AT&T.
I'd give it 4.5 out of 5... It loses 0.5 star for not running background apps, the Bluetooth profile doesn't support handsfree headsets and there is as yet no flash client... And if someone (the BBC?), will enable iPlayer for Radio to be accessed from the Colonies I'd love them!!! Get more detail about Apple iPod touch 16 GB (2nd Generation) NEWEST MODEL.
